Daniel Carney brings an extensive collegiate coaching background and an international tactical perspective to the Arkansas Legends. Currently the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Williams Baptist University, Daniel was recently honored as the 2025 AMC Coach of the Year for his leadership on the sidelines. His coaching journey spans multiple high-level programs, including serving as an Assistant Men’s Coach for FC Buffalo and Missouri Baptist University, as well as coaching within the prestigious ECNL and ECRL platforms with Albion Hurricanes.


As a player at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Daniel was a standout talent, earning First and Second Team All-Conference honors. He combines this competitive experience with elite education, holding both USSF Grassroots and a UEFA C License. Coach Carney’s diverse resume—ranging from top-tier youth academies to head coaching roles at the university level—allows him to provide Legends players with expert technical training and a clear roadmap for collegiate success.
