Gertie Langford brings a championship mentality and a rich Memphis soccer heritage to the Arkansas Legends. A standout product of Houston High School, Gertie was a key member of the Mustangs' dominant run, securing back-to-back TSSAA State Championships in 2017 and 2018. Her technical skill and leadership earned her multiple All-Metro honors before she moved on to an impressive collegiate career at Arkansas State University. 

A two-time Sun Belt Conference Academic All-District selection and a team captain for the 2025 season, Gertie’s experience at the NCAA Division I level is defined by her tactical versatility and work ethic. Currently serving as a Graduate Assistant for Arkansas State, she has already begun making her mark in the coaching world, leading the Valley View Junior High program since 2023. Coach Langford is dedicated to developing the next generation of Arkansas athletes, combining her high-level playing experience with a passion for academic and athletic excellence.
