John Taggart brings a wealth of competitive playing experience and a championship-winning pedigree to the Arkansas Legends. A native of New York, John was a standout at Medaille College, where he served as team captain and led his squad to three conference championships and two NCAA DIII tournament appearances, including a run to the NCAA Sweet 16. His high-level playing career continued into the semi-professional ranks, where he signed with FC Buffalo of the NPSL.
Since transitioning to coaching, John has built a diverse resume across the collegiate, high school, and club levels. Having served as an Assistant Coach at his alma mater, Medaille College, and locally at Collierville High School, John most recently led as a Head Coach for the Arkansas Revolution. Coach Taggart holds USSF Grassroots licenses and an NSCAA Level 5 certification.
